New Beginnings: Sangmyung University Degree Recipients of 2025

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., unlike the previous degree ceremony, both campuses held a late degree ceremony at Sangmyung University's Seoul Campus Culture and Arts Hall for graduates of Seoul/Cheonan Campus, graduate and doctorate degrees including special graduate schools, and bachelor's degree in the Future Education Center credit banking system.

The Degree Conferment Ceremony Is Conducted
At the degree award ceremony held on the same day, 462 students from the Seoul campus and 264 on the Cheonan campus received bachelor's degrees, while a total of 1,024 students, including 167 masters, 86 doctors and 45 credit banking degrees, received degrees. The ceremony was held in the order of opening speech, public ceremony, national anthem, academic report, congratulatory ceremony, award ceremony, degree certificate issuance, celebration, and singing the school song, with the attendance of faculty members, including President Hong Seong-tae, Seoul Campus Vice-Chancellor Koo Ja-yong, and Cheonan Campus Vice-Chancellor Ahn Beom-jun.
The Reflections Of The Students Who Participated In The Graduation Ceremony
A business administration student who was interviewed among graduates who attended the late-term degree ceremony said, "I want to do a job that is useful to society based on the knowledge I learned at school," and told my juniors, "Of course, credits are important, but building a lot of relationships and experience with people will be a more valuable asset." Furthermore, a student who graduated from the English education department said, "I want to thank many people for their help until graduation, and based on what I have studied at Sangmyung University, I want to contribute to the students I meet in society, and I feel like a new life begins with good memories through today's event."
As an adult, a message of congratulations and advice, congratulations to students who have successfully completed their college life, and leaving university institutions is a starting point for another life, so instead of fearing failure, trust yourself and be the main character in a shining life.
